Jennifer AdlerMS, CN

Nutritionist with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition & Counseling

Jennifer AdlerJennifer Adler understands firsthand how powerful food is in the healing process. Throughout her life she has suffered a litany of illnesses: malnutrition, parasites, heavy metal toxicity, anemia, hypoglycemia and debilitating digestive disorders. By age 20 her health was so bad that she had two choices: suffer a short, painful life like her mother, who died of cancer at age 44, or somehow make a monumental change and completely overhaul her health.

She chose health, and today is a nationally recognized nutrition expert (as seen on ABC’s Nightline), and the founder and owner of Passionate Nutrition, a rapidly growing nutrition practice with offices throughout the Northwest. Jennifer shares her unique approach to health in her book, Passionate Nutrition (published by Sasquatch Books), available on Amazon or in bookstores now.

Having surmounted her own health challenges, Jennifer is uniquely suited to help her clients tackle their own. She helps her clients lower their cholesterol, combat depression, reverse diabetes, lose weight and completely change their lives with nutrition.

Her approach to wellness is unique, and it’s served her well. By applying the same principles that she introduces to clients, Jennifer’s managed to remain medication-free, and is often mistaken for being 10 years younger than she actually is.

While many experts in the nutrition field advise patients to cut out particular foods from their diet, Jennifer prescribes abundant eating, and helps her clients strengthen their own body chemistry so that they can say “yes” to foods instead of “no.”

Her philosophy is innovative and her wisdom and guidance empowers clients to heal negative relationships with food and embrace a non-restrictive “anti-diet” of abundant eating and living.

Jennifer is a Nutritionist with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Counseling, co-founder of the International Eating Disorders Institute and an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr University. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Spirituality, Health and Medicine from Bastyr University, and was trained at the School of Natural Cookery in Boulder, Co.

What Clients are Saying

Jennifer acknowledged my current efforts in such a remarkable and kind way. Providers usually don’t look at what you’re doing right, only at what you’re doing wrong. I actually left the appointment feeling like change was possible.

I’ve been overweight all my life. Every appointment I’ve had regarding this problem from early youth until earlier yesterday has been largely degrading and horribly shaming — usually leaving me feeling much worse about the situation than before I went to seek help. I always left with a pretty bleak outlook. Jennifer acknowledged my current efforts in such a remarkable and kind way.
