A one-time only, all-inclusive, one week trip to Rovinj and the Istrian Peninsula of Croatia including all lodging, meals, tours, cooking and nutrition classes!
Early last year our family relocated to Rovinj, Croatia, just across the Adriatic from Venice, Italy. Rovinj is a small, romantic, thousand year old fishing village that is the most photographed spot in Croatia and one of the most beautiful small towns on the entire Mediterranean.
After we arrived I immediately connected with the local food community. Incredible people serving amazingly fresh caught seafood, farm-raised meats and hand crafted cheeses, the finest olive oil in the world, world-class wine, and, of course, truffles. This tour has been crafted through my relationships with local chefs and farmers. It is one of a kind authentic experience that would not be possible as a tourist. We will be eating classical dishes in local taverns and farms, and I will be spending time with the group answering nutrition questions throughout the trip. The dates for our week-long culinary tour are April 24-30, 2017

Guided tours of the postcard-like Istrian towns of Rovinj, Montovan, Porec, Pula, and Groznjan, dotting the Tuscany-like rolling hills of the area
The regions best “off the beaten path” farm to table restaurants and rustic farm-based restaurants where we’ll eat amazing, regional cuisine, prepared in age-old fashion
Incredible Roman ruins, including one of the most well-preserved amphitheaters anywhere
The area’s finest wineries and an olive oil farm named in 2016 as the finest producer in the world
A truffle hunting demonstration and truffle sampling
A boat tour of the dazzling coastline and on-board picnic
Stay in beautiful Four-Star hotel accommodations
Enjoy a Jennifer-led cooking class as well as other cooking classes by local chefs

Because Rovinj has only recently being discovered – Rick Steves names it “a little Venice on a hill”, and “one of my favorite small towns in the Mediterranean” – it’s still super affordable.
This all inclusive tour which includes all hotels, all meals, cooking classes, nutrition Q&A, boat tour, entrance and guide fees is just $1380 for guests who sign up before February 14. For sign-ups after February 14th the price is $1680. Secure your spot with a $500 deposit. Remainder of payment due by March 24th.
*Not included are airfare, airport transfer, and beverages. Guest capacity is limited to 18. Prices are based on double occupancy. Single occupancy price is increased by $120. Child pricing is based on age. Major airports in the area include: Pula, Croatia (30 minutes away), Venice, Italy (3 hours away), Treviso, Italy (3 hours away), Trieste, Italy (1 hour away), Rijeka, Croatia (1 hour away), Zagreb, Croatia (3 hours away) & Ljubljana, Slovenia (2 hours away). My 20 month old daughter will accompany portions of the trip so must be comfortable with public breastfeeding.
